In 2006 the City of Joondalup teamed up with the POWA Institute and its alliance with the Australian de Bono Institute and db[+] to deliver the first rethink program for small businesses in Western Australia.

rethink was developed in 2002 by the de Bono Institute in liaison with the South Australian Centre of Innovation in Business and Manufacturing.

rethink for the North West Metropolitan Region of Western Australia is a 14 month learning, mentoring and business networking program for small business owners and managers.

During the period January 07 to March 08 over 40 small business owners and managers are going through the 4 phases of the rethink pilot project to learn Edward de Bono’s thinking tools, apply these within their businesses, extend their personal knowledge and exchange new ideas and business connections within the Western Australian North West Metropolitan Region.
